Hyatt upgrades benefits for Gold Passport members

Members of Hyatt’s Gold Passport loyalty program can now take advantage of new benefits. The company said that Gold level membership now entitles guests to redeem points for free nights with no blackout dates, among other rewards. Members at the Platinum level of Gold Passport (five stays or 15 nights) will now get the best available room in the category they book; free Internet access; and a dedicated check-in area. At the Diamond level (25 stays/50 nights), Gold Passport members will get the Platinum benefits and also upgrades to the best available room – including Regency Club or Grand Club rooms, but not suites — and a free suite upgrade four times a year with paid stays. The expedited check-in areas are not available at Hyatt Place or Hyatt Summerfield Suites hotels. The four suite upgrades for Diamond level members apply only for stays of seven nights or less.
