Delta will go to cashless cabins next month

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Delta Air Lines is expected to announce that it will stop accepting cash for in-flight purchases on December 1. The newspaper said Delta and Northwest will accept only credit cards for food and beverage purchases on flights within North America, although cash will still be accepted on international routes and on the operations of Delta Connection regional partner airlines. Flight attendants are being equipped with hand-held card readers to handle all transactions.
